I am both a parent as well as a step-parent. Step-parenting is hard, and a
social worker told me it takes on the average 5 years for a step-parent to
be accepted as a parent. Does anyone else feel this is or is not true?

I'm trying to stay a kid as long as I can, and in college dorms-
that ain't hard. Plus- I adore little kids, most of the time.

Most, until they're bratty is what it is for me.

I don't know. I don't have kids of my own, though I do know how
to handle my bratty young cousins.

vidar

<vidar takes his Napalm gun from his back pack, slings it over his shoulder
and fries the peep the a crisp. A cartoon version of a peep devil appears
