as we sit here and talk rpgs we may as well know a bit about eachother what our
favorite books are, etc What are your favorite RPGS do you mostly play D&D
related stuff or do you like video games better I also put this in so new
people could learn a bit more about us so lets hear it!

My personal interest is the video games, and since I own only the SNES and
NES systems, my interest is limited to those platforms. To a more
limited extent, I have an interest in computer gaming. I'm also likely
to be the oldest member of this conference -- just TRY to guess my age,
but I'll never tell (heh, heh).

Favorite RPGs: AD&D(No rules lawyers need apply)
Star Wars (I was at Endor!)
Storyteller (Vampire/Werewolf/Mage)
Twilight 2000 (Ask me about the Presidential Assasination)
Mechwarrior (only played twice :( )
Ars Magica (Go Order of Hermes!)
Robotech (adapted to Star Wars system-long story)
And anything new, unusual, and easily learned. (Synnibarr players stay away
from me)

I personally like almost any type of rpg's, except I try to stay
away from one's that attempt to mix magic and technology because
they usually don't do a very good job of it. I've also been
playing Magic for quite a while, but I'm mostly a collector now.
Any of that kind of stuff is cool, just the whole idea of
dragons and castles and stuff rulez!

Kewl! Speaking of name changes, does anybody know how I can transfer
all my conference material to my new login? (E.G. buffers, login messages,
that cool file that says what items you've read so you don't have to read them
over again)

Sorry I haven't been on in so long! Technical problems.

**An elderly-looking man wearing dark blue robes strides in, acting as if
he owns the place. Holding his staff in one hand, he walks slowly
toward the table where the group of fabled rpg-ers are seated, talking
about whatever happens to come up. He takes the vacant seat next to their
Fair-witness, Kain. You can't place a name with him, but you're
sure you've seen him somewhere. Then, he pulls a deck of playing cards
out of one of the many pockets in his cloak and silently deals everyone
into a game of poker. It's him, the one that was sent to rule
after Setzer the Wandering Gambler left so many weeks ago. He's so
different, yet so much like the previous one. Maybe it is him, but
no one has any reason to ask...**

Whoo-hoo! Gandalf....personally, I like Merlin much better. Especially the
Merlin in Fred Saberhagan's _Merlin's Bones_.
