range musically from Bach and Mahler to Stan Rogers, and poetically from
Paul Simon to Alfred, Lord Tennyson.

Oct 5 Kris Delmhorst $10

Kris Delmhorst is one of New England's fastest-rising acoustic stars. Her

Great Lakes troubador Lee Murdock's songs are a treasure trove of drama
and inspiration found in the lives of fishermen, lighthouse keepers,
ghosts, and outlaws and everyday heroes. Fluent on the six and twelve
string guitars, Murdock combines ragtime, Irish, blues, and folk styles
with his flair for storytelling in songs.

Oct 26 Katie Geddes and The Usual Suspects

Katie sings traditional and contemporary folk, country-folk and folk-
gospel tunes, her sweet and soaring vocals backed by the versatile Usual
Suspects. The Suspects shine on guitar, upright bass, harmonica, piano
and harmony vocals. When not performing her own gigs, Katie moonlights
singing harmony vocals onstage with folk-rock legend Melanie.

Nov 9 Don White $15

Back by popular demand! Don sells out two GWCH dates every year, in June
and November. Don White combines heartfelt, serious lyrics with side-
splitting laughs to provide an evening not to be forgotten. This Massa-
chusetts comedian/singer/songwriter is best known in these parts for his
radio gems "Rascal," "Psycho Mom and Dad," and "I Know What Love Is." You
can hear these songs often on weekends on WCSX, Alice, and WDET radio shows.

Nov 16 Chuck Brodsky $10

There is no better storyteller than Chuck Brodsky. Ranging from poignant
to hilarious, his songs are about the little things in the lives of every-
day people. Chuck's soulful and compassionate voice brings his characters
to life, and is the perfect instrument for infusing his lyrics with heart-
felt humanity or biting wit. Many artists have covered Chuck's "Blow 'Em
Away," a delightfully nasty little song about commuting.
