I'll be playing this Wednesday (Feb 5) at Leopold Bros. with the Nick Strange
Group. Friday and Saturday we'll be playing Union Street Station in Traverse
City - wow!

Looks like there are 3 bands at Leopold's
tomorrow. Do we know the time slot for
Nick Strange and the Bare Naked?
Who's playin' drums? Didja get a new victim,
or resuscitate an old one?

We're up first, I think. Dave Wak [sp?] is the new/old drummer, and we've
been experimenting with a keyboard player too.

Well www.nickstrange.com seems to be mostly
operational and describes the performance time
as 10-11. Some of the pictured bassists
are labelled 'Scott Helmke' but sometimes
pseudonymns are used such as 'Click for
larger view'.

The Third Millennium Chorale presents a concert on Saturday,
February 8, 8 PM, at the First Congregational Church on State
St. at William. The first half includes the very rare Busoni
Mass, as well as Randall Thompson's "Alleluia" and "Ave Maria"
by Franz Biebl, The second half will consist of love song
standards set for chorus, including "I've Got You Under My
Skin," "Perhaps Love," "The Nearness of You," "I Only Have
Eyes For You," and "I'll Be Seeing You."
Admission is free. I'm the soprano soloist for the Busoni
Mass.

Oops, I meant to put this in a couple of days ago.... Arbor Opera
Theater presents a Valentines Day Concert, tonight, at the Westminster
Presbyterian Church on Scio Church Rd, at 8 PM. Admission is $12,
or $20 for a couple. I will be singing two wonderful Jerome Kern
Songs on the concert.
