I have just found out that I love swimming in hte dark. I never
ahd the chance before, but now that I'm at the Biostation, about 50 yards
from Douglass Lake at all times, I can't seem to help swimming under
the stars. Yesterday was really great, It was pitch black out and
we could see the lightning from the oncoming storm while we were swimming.

I agree...swimming underneath a starlit sky and a beautiful moon is one of the
most peaceful things in the world. *sigh*

The desert is so hot that many times a cool swim in an oasis is quite
refreshing. my father assigns guards who are forbidden to look upon my body
so I may swim in complete peace of mind. My favorite time is when there is
a full moon and the stars light up both the sky and the water so that it
appears as though you are swiming in a pool of jewels. Hoping to meet more
of you soon Leila

Welcome to Grex, Leila - wherever you are from. I know what you mean about
night swimming - but I've never been near an oasis to try one.
