I'm looking for reference material/information on gemstones. I am a layman on the subject and I'm looking for basic easy to understand information. Things like names, colors, faceted and non-faceted, locations, commoness (commonosity ?). Whether people here know about ]this subject or can reccomend good refernece places/books.
