I just participated in my first recording session. The University Musical
Society Choral Union just did our part in making a CD with the Detroit
Symphony. We recorded Tchaikovsky's incidental music to a play called "The
Snowmaiden."
It was an interesting experience. Has anyone else here been recorded?

Congratulations!
I have an old vinyl recording, privately made, of my 12th grade piano
recital, but I'm not sure that counts.

The Ann Arbor Public Library has vinyl pressings of early "important"
concerts performed by students in the AAPS music program. I don't know how
long these pressings were made, but they're there, 3rd floor (I think; it's
been a while since I've been up there).

I was in the audience for a live recording of a Bolcom and Morris
concert several years ago. If you listen to the cd carefully,
you can hear me "whoop!" at one point.
