 In the process of trying to drum up some business here, I realized
that housekeeping is long overdue. I've started going through
and freezing long-dead items, in anticipation of removing them
at some future (not too distant) date. I will continue going through
and freezing items with no responses since the beginning of March.
Items frozen so far are 9 (last resp. 8/5/91), 11 (1/27/92),
12 (10/13/91), 16 (1/16/92), 18 (9/12/91), and 19 (9/14/91).
Since we have so many low-activity items, I propose that this
conference be kept up to date in the rolling restart fashion,
removing very old items and adding new ones.

  It's nice to see that at least one of the fairwitnesses is motivated..

Did anyone happen to archive items 9,11,12,16,3,19,31,37,41,or 42?
I had intended to keep an archive of all items in this conference
before they were killed, but there was some miscommunication
between FW's, so I missed the items listed above.

In an attempt to further trim this conference, I have frozen the
following items that have had no activity since March or earlier:
I 21, last resp. 10/2/91; i23, 11/24/91; i 24, 3/8/92; i 28, 10/24/91;
i 29, 10/27/91; i 30, 10/25/91; i 32, 10/28/91; i 33, 11/5/91;
i 34, 11/18/91; i 35, 2/16/92; i 36, 3/7/92; i 38, 11/25/91;
i 39, 12/10/91; i 40, 12/8/91; i 44, 1/31/92; i 46, 1/27/92;
i 48, 2/27/92; i 49, 1/31/92; i 50, 3/3/92; i 53, 3/11/92;
i 54, 3/5/92.

These items will be deleted on or around September 7. If anyone
wants desperately too keep one of these items active, please petition
me via email.

In addition, I will delete item 18 (frozen on 6/6, but not one of
the items killed by Mike) this morning.

I have finally killed the items that I froze back in August, except
for item 48, which was either unfrozen by another FW, or was somehow
never frozen by me in the first place. In any case, the item has
become active again, so more power to it.

Well, here I am, getting right on it. At least it's been less than
a year since I promised to do more housekeeping. OK, the following items
have been frozen: 7, 8, 13, 15, 20, 26, 27, 47, 48, 55, 63, 93,
94, 96, 98, 99, 100, 101, 103, 104, 105, 106, 108, 109, 110, 111, 112
114, 115, 116, 118, 120, 123, 124, 125, 126, 127, 128, 130, 132, 134.
All of them have gone at least three months with no new responses.
If you have a special fondness for one of these items, and desire to
revive it, please let me know. Otherwise, they will be nuked in about
two weeks.
