ok, i do not recall seeing anybody in here mentioning my faveorite bands and musicians, although someone did come close a couple of times. Has anybody out there ever heard of New Model Army, Fugazi, Miles Davis, Conflict, Sham 69, Ninine? .

New Model Army was one of the coolest 80's/90's bands ever. Rumor has it that they have disbanded though. About two years ago they released a major label album with a new bassist and it flopped. The label dropped them and thats that. Needless to say only about 3 or 4 albums are available in the us but they have like 17 or 18 albums! I ran across a copy of vengence which I think is their first album and its cool as hell. Try to find it probably in a used record store.

I was quite surprised recently to find the origin of the name New Model Army in an English history overview. It's from the Cromwell era.
