(matts, if you have something you'd like to see about said person, you
might start the discussion by asking something. Otherwise, you will see
MANY responses/reactions like #1, which I would have done if she hadn't
beat me to it. ;) )

arrgh!!! Aftering being pissed off from the amount of bands that have
gone to the MTV generation for the killing, it's nive to see
one guy sticking to his guns. Al, while Minisstry is becoming very poular
is just a kool gu, who will never sell out. He started playion gne Autry
at LOLAPALLOOZA in 91 when the fans became reckless. Does anyone have
any othere knowledge of \\bands he is in?
i know rev co, ministry, lard, and pailhead...any more????

(thanks)

is rev co short for "Revolting Cocks"? Does Al do any producing besides
bands that he's a member of? Does he do anything but industrial? I
actually recognize the name, even though I'm not as familiar with either
Ministry or the Revolting Cocks as I should be, and I'm not aware of the
other bands he's in.

Well, yes . REvo is short for revolting cocks. He pretty much is industrial,
but he loves country musci. Go figure. He is in a band called "Pail Head"
with Ian Mccaye, and it is well, more punk, I would have to say.

He and Barker are also in the 1000 Homo DJs, which has only 1 EP out,
featuring a cover version of Black Sabbath's "Supernaut" and a titanically
noisy original song called "Better Ways" which I enjoy immensely.

They are also part of the Acid Horse, which has one CD-single with a
song called "No Name, No Slogan" on it- this has a sort of country edge
to it. Curiously, the CD-single features a second version of the same song
produced by Cabaret Voltaire.

As producers Jourgensen/Barker go by the names Hypo Luxa and Hermes Pan.
They produced 1 track on a GWAR album some time ago; the Skinny Puppy
album "Rabies" features extensive Jourgensen involvement but is not regarded
as one of SP's best, although I kind of like i

If you like this kind of music, I strongly suggest you listen to Steve
Albini's group Big Black, which was turning out acerbic, abrasive music
to match anything Ministry/RevCo have done 10 years ago.
