The following is cross-posted from Genx item 20, which has been killed:
#1 of 17: by Carson! Rizor (carson) on Fri, Apr 8, 1994 (16:27):
whoah. too many suicides at once.
#2 of 17: by Brian Place (bdp) on Fri, Apr 8, 1994 (16:46):
(Deja Vu?)
Yeah, suicides always seem to come in bunches.
#5 of 17: by KALINDA MARIE WALKER (sun) on Sat, Apr 9, 1994 (19:28):
I have a slighty warped idea of Kurt's death: It was the best career
move he made. After the smash success of NEVERMIND, the band went
downhill. I am sorry that we have lost a musician, but then again, I
didn't care for their music, either. And a correction, Kurt Cobain was
found dead on Friday, but was declaired dead on Thursday or before.
#6 of 17: by Gerald E. Peck (gerund) on Sat, Apr 9, 1994 (20:55):
Actually it probably was the best career move he made. H'es probably
going to be legendary now. (guess i'm warped too)

SOmeone came to musicland and bought all their albums in one shot.
#10 of 17: by A.J. LoCicero (cicero) on Sun, Apr 10, 1994 (03:09):
I read that Kurt's mom was quoted as saying "I told him not to join that
stupid club" (the club of Dead Rock Stars).
#11 of 17: by KALINDA MARIE WALKER (sun) on Sun, Apr 10, 1994 (14:33):
Yep.
#12 of 17: by No if's and's or (facelift) on Sun, Apr 10, 1994 (19:10):
I don't think their music went downhill...
(I gues I'm the warped one)
#13 of 17: by Anne L. Perry (anne) on Sun, Apr 10, 1994 (19:26):
re # 12, yep
#14 of 17: by KALINDA MARIE WALKER (sun) on Sun, Apr 10, 1994 (19:37):
I think that they changed, and I never liked their music either, but, I was
watching MTV today, and he was a very intelegent person. I am getting sadder
that he killed himself, but after thesrug-induced coma, I am not suprised
that he blew (err...that was drug induced) his face off with a 12 gauge
shotgun.
#15 of 17: by Gerald E. Peck (gerund) on Sun, Apr 10, 1994 (20:25):
Drugs will screw you up every time.
#16 of 17: by Anne L. Perry (anne) on Sun, Apr 10, 1994 (21:05):
yep
#17 of 17: by KALINDA MARIE WALKER (sun) on Sun, Apr 10, 1994 (21:20):
Yea. He was a good human, I just didn't like his band.
