If I were trex, I'd invent a very exotic drink involving several ounces
of gold dust suspended in colloidal form.

Aren't you glad I'm not him?

Actually, I think there is a drink that has an inexpesnive form of gold in
it.

Gary's going to Ireland in September - if you want something from there that
you can't get here, we'll provide it.

response 17 of 36: Mark Unseen   Jul 3 04:44 UTC 2000

i'm in ... single malts rule, too.

we might also consider a clebratory party/picnic with
a grab bag of 'neat stuff' that this trex-led crew could use.

each pern lists 1-2 items and tod/seldon/board collects some
fundage for the grab bag. i'm in for $25 on this.

Sounds like a neat idea.
I'll match tsty's $25

Cool..let's have a picnic :)
twinkie
response 20 of 36: Mark Unseen   Jul 3 17:04 UTC 2000

For clarification, I am not pledging $25 for a picnic.
I am pledging $25 for the "grab bag of 'neat stuff'" for the staff members
who helped to bring M-Net back online.

Depending on the weight of the "grab bags", and how many need to be sent, I
may also be willing to cover the postage. (I'm assuming at the very least,
jp2 will need his sent to him)

Sounds good. I guess we're gonna have to buy coolers and dry ice to ship them.
Anyone wanna pledge coolers and dry ice.
