windows NT...HELP!!!!!!

okay, i just bought windows NT. One question. What can I do with it?
Is there is shareware out there for it. On what ftp sites? any info
of help anyone can give me would be appreciated.

Windows NT, if I remember correctly, is a pretty expensive package. Isn't
it better to ask "what can I do with it?" type questions *before* deciding
to shell out the cash?

For an FTP site, try ftp.cica.indiana.edu. There's an NT section
somewhere under the /pub/pc/win3 directory.

I wouldn't expect there to be much shareware, as NT will run ordinary
windows 3.1 programs, and that's where the shareware market is.
There are going to be high end programs that benefit from the
foull 32 bit architecture, but I'd not expect to see many as shareware.
NT has tcp/ip support built in, so if you're hooked up to the internet
or a corporate tcp/ip lan it's a plus.
I'd look in the same place as you would look for Win31 programs
ftp.cica.indiana.edu , they might even have some NT stuff separated out
there (though I haven't looked in a long while, since I use only Macs
at home, and limit my Windows activities to work-related stuff).

Yeah, Its the second OS that take the advantage of the 32 bit architecture.
On the other hand I've heard that since it is a new release it might have
some bugs. So give it some time to prove its reliability.

At work, the software development team I work with has just shipped
a 32-bit NT port of our product. We've had it running on OS/2 for over
a year.
