OK, this item may not belong here, but I am not sure what other conference it
would go in, so here goes. I have recently decided to give FreeBSD a whirl. I
have this extra PC at work that I had been running SuSE Linux 7.2 on, and it
seemed to work fine. So, I decided to wipe out the HDD and install FreeBSD 4.5
as the only OS to make things simple. For the most part, all went smooth until
(you guessed it!) I tried to get my X Server up and running. I have a Matrox
Millenium II video card and I noticed that both XF86Setup and xf86config both
have it listed in the list of compatible cards. But the best I can seem to
come up with is this horrible 640x480 resolution when I try to start my X
Server up. I am using KDE 2+ as my desktop. I have 4 megs of video RAM and my
RAMDAC is TI 3026, so do not quite see what I am doing wrong. Any suggestions?
