Cyber dreams Mark Unseen   Dec 16 04:33 UTC 1996

After my Mac has gone to sleep, I can slip into the room and hear the hard
drive murmuring quietly to itself. It doesn't when it is awake but idle.
Is it dreaming?

Yes. Like the Amiga, the Mac is a very creative computer. Instead of
"meditating" while powered-up like the Amiga, the Mac is content to dream
happily of flying toasters and such after you power it down so it will be
well-rested when you power it up again, ready to unleash it's full creative
potential for you. However, if your Mac snores, take it to a qualified Mac
medical technician immediately. It could be suffering from a restricted
airflow (commonly known as "sleep apnea") that could lead to fever and and
untimely death.

My Mac murmurs to itself when it sleeps. I hear the hard drive searching
and reading...but it never seems to remembers its dreams. Is there a
dream-catcher INIT?
