Microsoft's WINDOWS NT 4.0 UserGroup Tour
WNTUGT '96 arrives in Ann Arbor, MI on 3 April 96 - and we are
happy about that. Please spread the content below as far and wee
as you can - particularily to sys admins, MIS managers, your
friendly, local network gurus, current Windows NT users and your
own Public Relations channels including bulletin board postings.
Here is a brief synopsis of the tour:
The Windows NT User Group Tour '96 is now set to reach 2-3000 en-
thusiasts and corporate customers in 18 cities across the US and
Canada between February and early April. The response from the
User Groups has been tremendous.
We have some exceptional things planned for this meeting. Mi-
crosoft will demonstrate the new version of Windows NT Worksta-
tion. This new version of Windows NT includes the Win95 Graphi-
cal User Interface (Win95 GUI), Telephony API (TAPI), Unimodem
and much more. In addition, each member in attendance will have
the opportunity to obtain a "beta" copy of this new version of
Windows NT Workstation. Other special things are planned, which
you will discover at this meeting. Microsoft is interested in
publicly showing this new version to members of Windows NT user
groups because of their enthusiasm for the Windows NT family of
products.
The general program plan for the April 3, 1996 date is as follows:
PRESENTATION:
60 minutes total: 15 mins introduction, 45 mins
SUR demo, and 20 mins Q&A (delivered by Microsoft)
GIVE-AWAYS FOR ALL ATTENDEES:
*Very cool "concert-style" T-shirt
*Copy of Windows NT Magazine
*Coupon for Windows NT SUR Beta for every attendee
(to be mailed to attendee after event)
RAFFLE:
*After each meeting for MS software and T-shirts
*Each attendee is also automatically entered to win a P6 machine
donated by Compaq (who is co-sponsoring the event) in a final
raffle we will hold at the end of the tour in April.
