Help with Epson LX-80?? (please?)

Can anyone help me with the dip switch settings for a epson LX-80?
I have come into one and need to use it muy pronto.
When I turn it on it prints "Data Dump Mode" and then just sits there.
I suspect that the problem is with those nasty switches but since 
I don't have a manual, I'm stuck.  Any and all suggestions (except 
very vulgar ones) considered.  Thanks, Ted G.
