uote Board" Mark Unseen   Sep 4 00:43 UTC 1991

It is very easy to make comments that can be taken in more than one way when
you are not thinking, especially when dealing with people who are interested
in language (or dirty-minded people who are not interested in language).
An example of this recently appeared on M-Net during the discussions about
whether or not the board should remain accessible: A user remarked that he
was grateful to Dave Parks for "keeping it up so long". What are some of the
comments that you have made that were embarrassing when viewed in a different
way?

My college roommates and I used to collect these remarks and stick them to the
wall, yelling "Quote Board" after one was made. I still have some of the
interesting ones I made -- perhaps I will find them and post them here.
