Of Nuts and Wine Mark Unseen   Oct 13 03:52 UTC 1992

Here are two questions concerning nuts and wine:

1) On my property that I recently moved on to, I have about six Hickory trees.
These trees provide me a wealth of nuts. My question therefore is: Are
these nuts edible and should they be roasted or cooked first.

2) Also on my property is a peach tree that produces a somewhat small but not
overly sweet fruit. As I was blessed with more of this fruit than planned,
I was wondering if anyone had any fairly simple wine recipies that could
    make use of these peaches.

Thank you much for your assistance,
                                - John A. -

I love hickory nuts and envy you. I've had them raw and roasted. Prefer
roasted.
