It's still morning -- haven't eaten lunch (or breakfast, for that
matter) yet. I'll be going to a farewell lunch for a co-worker today.
It's at Bennegans, so I'll probably be eating their one veggie menu
item (some kind of pizza, I think).

I got off work just after lunch time today, so I ducked around the corner
and had some French Seafood Chowder from the fish market. Great on a
chilly day like today!

During the cold winter days, lunch is more and more often, a bowl of soup.

I'm trying to avoid lunchmeat... I'm not actually a vegetarian, but I consider
it a good idea to avoid meat anyway. I've been experimenting with various
pattie type things from the "Health" food freezer at the store. So far no
problem, except for the price...

It's pretty easy (even I can do it) to fry up a burger using Falafel mix and
on top of that, it's good for you.

Amy, you mentioned looking for a way to lower the fat in your diet. One tip
is to read the ramen packages. Most ramen noodles are deep-fried in high-fat
oil before being packaged. But some brands aren't. Reading the labels should
help locate the non-fried ones.

What was this item about again? Oh yeah, lunch.
Pizza with green peppers, mushrooms and onions.
