UUCP!
I'm joining the ranks of the lowly MS-dos BBS striving to join the ranks
of the InterNet Aristocracy.
As we claw our ways up the mountain, bloody fingernails and empty pockeybooks,
to the peak known as INTERNET.
 
Does anybody happen to know of a VERY cost effective way that I can
provide seriously cheap EMAIL (domain'ed MX, whatever) to my users?

I don't think anybody should have to pay more than $5.00 a month just to get
mail, and I wish there were a way that I could give it to my users for less!
