Security in IE Mark Unseen   Dec 27 05:23 UTC 1999

There is a mistake in security in Internet Explorer. I have set up password to
prevent my friends from viewing bad sites but someone changed. Now I cannot use
IE. IE is too bad ! :-(

Just started using IE, and I like it. (To fan the flames a bit...)

re #2 If you are being serious what do you like about it? I use Netscape
exclusively because Micro$ofts marketing tactics disgust me so much.
I would be interested in hearing though about any significant differences
it has from Netscrape.

Microsoft's marketing tactics disgust me too, but since I have IE
on hand I've been getting familiar with it. A few things that I
like: point & click editing of bookmarks, easy access to history
file, search-on-demand, smooth scrolling, easy font resizing,
ability to create link index and image index from any page. A
feature I expect to like but haven't used yet is the built-in XML
support. In general, IE has a smooth, quick feel to it. Netscape
seeks a little clunky by comparison.

My comments apply only to the latest version of IE. Earlier
versions I've used are markedly inferior.
