Is this conference dead, or did we just run out of things to talk about
pertaining to the Internet? :)

I think it has gotten so massive and overwhelming that it is hard to
discuss. It is an entity *within which* we can have conferences. There
are certainly many discussions about the internet going on in many other
conferences now.

I'm inclined to agree with Rane - time has passed the concept
of a centralized internet conference by. As it is, there's now
a separate "web" conference for discussing the WWW, and
programming issues relating to the internet often come up
in "jellyware".

I'll disagree that a separate internet conference is not a good thing. Don't
mistake lack of activity for lack of value. The conference can serve as an
archive, if nothing else. If some weeding is in order, that's fine.

As it is, it's a pretty decent historical archive.

I'll agree, there's some interesting topics that have been discussed in
this conference in the past. I started using Grex back in May, and since
the going down of nether.net I've used Grex a LOT more, and come to like
Grex. So I hve read through some of the conferences, and there is some
good information in them.
