The Farm
|

The Farm was maybe the defining hipplie community. I lived there for a while,
both in Tennessee, Wisconsin, and San Rafael.
It's settled down in to more of a coop these days. But what a history and
what an experiment!

How did you happen to change from the sort who lives in a commune (presumably
with not much personal space) to the type who builds and lives in 3000+ square
foot houses?

The commune more or less fell apart and I joined the Austin high tech world
and got hooked up with a woman and her teenage, space hungry daughters.

Currently, it's just me and my wife. We're contemplating rentals.
