                ...suggests that it lights only when pushed.
I'm after something similar, but with the LED on a separate
pin so that the switch can double as a status indicator for
the thing that the switch controls.  A source in the US, UK
or Canada is preferred.

So you want a lighted indication of the switch's position, but you just
don't want the light on the switch? I believe what you are after is a
double-pole single-throw switch. Just wire one pole to whatever it is
you are switching, and the other pole to control the LED.

No, the switch is momentary.  Push to start the connected
device, which after an undetermined amount of time turns
itself off.  The button itself should be lit when the device
is on (not just when the button is pressed).
