What's wrong with this MacIntosh, and where you get it fixed best?

Which place/business is the best for getting an old mac fixed. Screen is
compressed to one horizontal line, and floppy runs. Probably power supply,
if it is the power supply, is there a common cure for it other than taking
it to a repair shop?

You mean an old not running mac is a good mac?

Sounds like you have a problem with your vertical sweep circuit. Often
its a bad solder connection on the fly-back, but I'm not sure if that
would have anything to do with the vert. sweep. Can't hurt to have a
look. (I take it you have a 128 to plus)

Moustafa, if I haven't responded to this within a few more days, send
me mail to tickle my brain. I'm doing some stuff for a mac person who
would be sure to know where to go.
