Config info for Aztech Sound Galaxy NX Pro? Mark Unseen   Apr 27 19:27 UTC 1998

I was recently given an old sound card, and I'm in the process of getting
my Linux system to talk to it. It appears to be a software-configured
device, and I wasn't given any manual or utility disk. I managed to
stumble upon the right IO/IRQ numbers for the basic sound function, but
the mixer, midi, and FM synth are still unknown. Might someone have one
of these around, and be willing to share a copy of the manual and/or
config utility? The board is an Aztech Sound Galaxy NX Pro, which appears
to be an 8-bit SB-pro clone built on a AT-style (16-bit) card.

Did yu look to see if they have a homepage. Might be the best place to look
for linux drivers or at least info to get them.

go to: http://www.aztech.com.sg You'll find information on your card
there. IMHO, you'd be better off with a true soundblaster or perhaps a card by
MediaVision. I have a card exactly like the one you've got, and it's one of the
worst cards I've ever owned, second only to the IBM Mwave modem/soundcard
combos. I currently run a Acer AW32 Pro that I picked up for less than $20 at
Computer Renaissance, and it rivals a Soundblaster AWE32 in performance.
