Ice Skating Party!

GrexOhio members are hereby invited to an Ice Skating Party on Saturday,
November 18, 1995, at 1:00 p.m. at the OSU Ice Rink!!! Meet outside of the OSU
Ice Rink at 1:00 p.m. The skating session will begin at 1:15 p.m. and
continue until 3:15 p.m. Admission costs $4 ($3 - children 12 and under)
and if we have a group of fifteen people or more, knock $1 off the
admission price!! Skate rental is only $2! If you are interested, please
leave a response below (please comment if you would be willing to car
pool), call Robert Lawson at 471-3498, or contact any one of the GrexOhio
officers! If you need directions, call the OSU Ice Rink at 292-4154.

Umm..coool! I have to get parenhtal permission of course <parental>, but
I should be able to go..I'll have to get back with you about
car pooling. =) Spiffy doodles! lunch sounds like fun.

Directions to the OSU Ice Rink

Travel SOUTH on US 23 to I-270. Travel WEST on I-270 for 1 mile until you
reach exit 22. Take exit 22 southbound and travel SOUTH on STATE ROUTE 315
until you reach Lane Avenue, then travel EAST on Lane Avenue and continue to
Olentangy River Road. Travel SOUTH on Olentangy River Road until you come to
Woody Hayes Drive. Turn left onto Woody Hayes Drive. The OSU Ice Rink is
located at 390 Woody Hayes Drive. If you should become lost, please call
GrexOhio at 471-3498 or call the OSU Ice Rink (number listed in response 0).

Those who are interested, you could stop an hour earlier at Tommy's Pizza for
lunch. Tommy's Pizza is located very close to the OSU Ice Rink (174 West Lane
Avenue -- Ph: 294-4669). This is just a suggestion and I doubt I personally
will be there. I will be standing outside the enterance to the OSU Ice Rink
at 1pm and the doors will open at 1:15. Please try to be on time.

I just got off the phone with OSU Ice Rink to double check some things when
they tell me that there is NO open skate period tomrrow. I called about three
weeks ago and the gentleman I spoke with gave me the posted times. You can't
know how sorry I am about this mix up and I'm trying to reschedule for early
December.

We did plan on rescheduling the party at OSU Ice Rink but our Vice-president
Megan (freedom) Wyatt suggested that we have our Ice Skating Party at the
Columbus Zoo instead. Please post your opinions and thoughts concerning this
idea here.
