WANTED: Mark Unseen   May 23 04:21 UTC 1995

Homes for three Japenese Maple tree seedlings. They popped up this year
in cement crevices, and the like. They all come from one tree that is
unusually large for the breed. We are eventually (by the end of the summer)
gonna have to pull them, and I was kinda curious to see if anybody would
want them.

I could take one. How fast to do they grow (slow, is my guess).

i'm not really sure...we used to have one that was about 6" high by the end
of the summer...the actual breed isn't supposed to be very big (more like
a large bush), but the seedlings are from an abnormally large one. i geuss
just think of it like a regular maple in terms of growth. (whtever that means!)

Sounds like a good thing to stick in a pot on my porch.
How do I go about getting one?

I'll take two, I guess. Unless you are *dying* to get rid of them. :) :)

put it this way...eventually they are going to start interefering with the
pavement and the garden and the bush. much as i'd prefer the bush to go,
the driveway really does need to stay where it is. :)

i'm sorry!!!!!!!! :( i've transplanted them before, but they did survive.
well,i still have the third.....

and i also have grape hyacinth bulbs...if anybody needs some cute, agressive
plants, let me know...i spend several hours every year digging them out of
our gardens. (they are reallly cool, but they have bulbs that branch off
and multiply, plus seed sacks...sigh)
