is there any way a users files could be deleted randomly by another user, or just grex itself???? and is there a way to retrive files from grex if they can be found on !locate | ||

files can be deleted by anyone allowed to do so, by the permissions of the directory in which they exist. locate is merely a catalog which is built periodically, and is useful in finding files whose location is not certain. deleted files are gone permanently, and locate's database will be updated to reflect that fact later. | ||
