Excel Communications
|
May 31 01:43 UTC 1996 |
Has anyone heard anything about a start-up communications firm called "Excel"
or possibly "Excel Communications"?
I was introduced to Excel in the form of a "Join our pyramid sales scheme"
sales pitch. It works like a chain letter.
Apparantly this firm has only been public for a couple of weeks and has
experienced a big price jump - now in the 32 range. They sell communication
services competing with AT&T etc.
I am not really interested in investing, but I thought the pyramid sales
scheme may be questionable.

One of my clients tried to interest me in it, as a consumer, not as a
recruit (so far).

Not too many people seem to have heard of them.

Oh no! Now I have a letter from another co-worker trying to put a guilt trip
on me unless I support his new endeavor - Excel.

I am wary of anything having to do with 'Network Marketing.'
