The EnviroLink Network is proud to announce the creation of the EnviroFreenet,
a free-access environmental information system. The EnviroFreenet offers
real-time discussion forums, bulletin boards, Usenet, mail, Gopher, FTP and
many other services. EnviroFreenet is unique, in that it offers all of these
services with a focus on environmental issues.

Instead of just writing a lot about it, try it out for yourself! Here's how:

Use the "telnet" command to connect to: envirolink.org
Follow the instructions at the login prompt and explore!

It is that simple. It is completely free. Why not check it out?

Interesting -- a special purpose freenet. I'll give it a try
when I get a chance.

Should this item be linked to "internet" and "hippie"?

Even more interesting -- these guys are only a few blocks away
from CMU. They even have the same ZIP code.
