Exercise Your Franchise! Mark Unseen   Jul 9 03:29 UTC 1998

This is the voting item. It is your opportunity to exercise
your right in an open society to have a voice in the
    decision-making process.

So how do you vote? YES or NO?

I surmise from Rane's #1 that he's on the fence. Hopefully he
will mull things over and come down on one side or the other,
eventually.

Thank you for the forthright response, Amy. But are you sure
you have no doubts?

Hmph, more hedging. I'm disappointed by the turnout so far. Let's vote
in large numbers and MAKE DEMOCRACY WORK!

Ah! Our Supreme Snordship has Spoken! We must all hurry to the polls
and await His instructions on how to vote in order to achieve the balance
and serenity which He has planned for our little corner of the universe!

<i signals for a round of Ho-Ho's for everyone at the polls>

No no no, you have it all wrong. I've no instruction on how you should
vote. It's your FREE CHOICE in a FREE SOCIETY.

I vote for pepperoni and black olive, or perhaps pineapple and yellow pepper.
But no anchovies.

This "free" choice and "free" society thing sounds a lot like a "free"
lunch. What's the catch, and how bad are we gonna get burned? Can we
pay up front instead? Will orinoco get Limburger-stuffed-stone-ground-
organic-hops-crust pizza?

Ah my -- the rationalizations people come up with for not exercising
their rights at the ballot box. <snord sighs>

I vote for green peppers, mushrooms and onions. No meat please. Do we
get soft drinks too if we vote?

response 17 of 46: Mark Unseen   Jul 21 00:53 UTC 1998

I vote that we do, and rescind my former unequivocal NO on
this point only.

You're wasting your vote unless they're willing to serve if elected.

Are they serving lunch or dinner? Will they serve breakfast after 11:30? These
are important issues, mind you.
