|
Apr 20 22:48 UTC 1995 |
This is the item to mention sightings of people who aren't on
Grex but who you expect to be.

How nice. And then too, I have an appointment with good ol' Carl
"billions and billions" Sagan early next week. I expect we'll be
seeing him on Grex soon.

At a seance I attended the other day, the medium managed to raise
the spirit of Konrad Adenauer, the late German chancellor. I told
him about Grex and he seemed interested; said he'd look into how
to get connected from where he currently is.

Oh, how lovely! Ask, if you please, if he wouldn't mind dining with the
late Shah of Iran. I'm putting him up at my place for a few days, but
I think the drudgery of country life is dreadfully boring for him....

Amy. It's the long lost Amy.
Or perhaps I'm the long lost Gerund.
I get it confuzzled.

Perhaps I've died and gone to heaven. And speaking of heaven, St. Peter
should be showing up online here shortly.

The other day I had a vision of Julius Caesar, the late great
Roman emperor. I told him all about Grex, and he seemed
intrigued, especially by the notion that Agora is divided into
three parts. So maybe we'll be seeing him online. Be patient
with his typography though -- he has an upper-case-only
terminal.

There are several here, they just don't use their real names (to avoid
being bothered by twits). From what Napoleon tells me, they don't want
any more big names - or, even worse, second-stringer wanna-be's - showing
up and demanding a share of the glory.

conferences) is coming.

Frank Zappa's son Dweezil's next door neighbor's mailman's attorney's
dimwitted half-brother's astrologist's personal gynecologist's cat is going
to be on grex from what I hear. But you know how rumors are around here.
