Is the world a round flat place that we fall off on to?

Hmmm...this is not enigma, so its not necessarily a trick question.
But I'd agree that it looks round, and I fall on it now and then. I
guess that ends the discussion for me.

A round flat place. Hmm, when I jump up and down the tonal
qualities of the thud sound rather flat to me. Usually when
one falls, one falls off something. Thus one falls off something
else onto another something, usually the earth, which is round.
And is tonally flat when jumped up and down on....
The answer is Yes.

Only tnt would try to make a distinction between the two evils, most
of us are brighter than that.

gentlemen! take this nonsense back to agora and leave us to be silly
in peace.
for that matter, this is the first non-inflamatory comment I have ever
seen from bdh, so I was rather enjoying it. I've seen some other similarly
unfortunate and inappropriate names, but I generally assume the person made
a mistake and hasn't yet learned how to change a name. (I just did.)
Do respond to content, please.

The "it" from Chicago has almost always had quality content, that
has never been in question (to me).
However .... the passive RACISM in its headline is justification
enough for castigation in the extreme, as some people have heard
me enunciate directly.
Is there anyone stupid enough to APPROVE its chfn? Speak NOW or
get the hell out of the way!

If by approve you mean not censor, then I approve of his decision to use
that name. If by approve you mean admire, or that if I approved of it I
would do it myself, then I don't approve. I do find that name at least
mildly offensive, but there are probably people out there who find things
that I have said offensive.

I find it extremely offensive, on the same level as calling someone's
mother a whore. But if a grown person wants to act four years old
and offend whole groups of people to the extreme, he won't be
changed now. The only reason it is permitted is that Grex as a
community chooses not to censor remarks that are even offensive in
the extreme.

going to stop him from saying it.

Maybe there are some incomplete-reading people responding here, nothing
negative, nay, it is positive, has been said about its content.
EVERYTHING negative has, and will continue to be SAID, about its CHFN.
If some people find its chfn only "mildly offensive," then you display,
by that opinion, the phenomenon of gross undereducation. Learn more.
A four year old doesn't have the mental capacity to promote racism. It
takes a perverted adult to promote racism.
There is a bumper sticker on my car: Censorship Destroys
Here I will state: Destroy Racism
Any problems with that?
If "you" have a value system that works, you must be able to "destroy"
certain things, and be willing to do it, and be willing to be accountable
for doing it. I am.
If "your" value system doesn't work, let your kid kill your spouse and
say, "gee."

I'm confused as to why so many are responding to BDH's handle
as racism. Certainly they are merely seeing the "nigger" and
are having gut reactions. I'm sure to get flamed for this, and
I probably shouldn't be jumping into the fray at this late date,
but I'm with Kami on this. How is "nigger lover" being interpreted?
If the first word is meant as being derogatory, than the phrase
is either illgoically condescending, or simply oxymoronic (and
no easy jokes about taking the "oxy" off, please). He had a
comment to make, and he was shut down because of a handle he's
had for a loooooooooooooooooooong time.
Oh, well, I've already had my say about "nigger" on another item,
so I'll shush up now.

Rather than flaming, I am inclined more to agree with you.
I've said this before, but it bears repeating.
bdh has chosen an irritating name. It is irritating precisely because it
reminds us of racism. I detest racism, but I have seen nothing racist in
his name (despite tsty's protestations) since bdh has chosen that name
for himself. I also believe bdh chose it to get a reaction, and ts is
giving him what he wants - I'd prefer to ignore him (I usually do).
