"Revise, revise, eternally revise!"
Such was the advice of my father, author and editor Bronson Snord,
who prided himself on his mastery of the written word. "It is
better for a bad word to go unwritten than for noble yet poorly
phrased sentiments to be reprinted ten million times," he often
said.
I have taken my father's beliefs to heart. Never again will I
type a word that is not carefully chosen and suited to the context.
Never again will the world be forced to endure malappropriate
glufocragenhotz on my part.
