I Know It's Extravagant, but What the Hey
|
Feb 4 05:29 UTC 1994 |
I know it's extravagant
But what the hey,
I like to go out
For lunch *EVERY* day!
Not so much the food
But the travel that's dear,
'Cause I venture outside
Of the local sphere -
And journey to Surrey
For a taste of curry
Or to downtown Brussels
For a plate of mussels
Or to Guadalupe
For wonton soup
Or the heart of Dubuque
For tomato and cuke
Or Istanbul, Turkey
For some nice beef jerky
Or Ten Downing Street
For hot cream of wheat
Or darkest Duluth
For a Baby Ruth
Or the Plain of Jars
For some chewy Mars Bars
Or to South Dakota
(Which Nino Rota
Never saw)
For a roast macaw
Or to Santa Fe
For curds and whey
Or Texarcana
For fried banana
Or New Orleans
For Boston baked beans
Or Chicago, Ill
For steamed land fill
Or Guantanamo Bay
For some Frito-Lay
Or sunny Cannes
For some moo goo gai pan
Oh, the food and locale
Don't have to match,
Nor to be credible
Need the food be edible,
But it's surely a crime
If the two don't rhyme.

Quite apetizing. Especially after that decapitated bird I saw on my walk
home from school today.

I am not sure. I usually only identify birds that still have their heads.

I think #0 is a delightful bit of fun, probably puplishable in a good kids'
magazine with a bit of clean up (minimal). I just didn't have anything produc
tive to add yet.

Don't be so rude. You wanna know something, ask politely and you
will receive. In fact, the less you ask the more you shall receive.
If you ask impolitely you will receive nothing.

So, orinoco, ask the same question, but in upper and lower case
(caps is considered shouting).
