*Lucky number* puzzle
|
Mar 19 12:10 UTC 1993 |
Many people (er, some; would you believe a few?) have been puzzled
and enthralled by the following *lucky number* puzzle.
All you have to do is change the following into a 6:
IX
(You may not move or change the original characters, and brevity is
preferred among the correct answers.)

Add an "S". I'd like to meet the people stumped by this. So I can
slap them.

I beg to differ. If we are discussing *roman* numerals, then the
number in question is written as VI, not IX which is not the number
in question.
Maybe someone (remmers) could devlop a numerical system that would
support this.

Okay, if we're only using Roman numerals, then I'd cut the number in
half horizontally and do a mirror-reflection. Thus:
I \/ becomes I \/ becomes \/ I
I /\
