money order maddness

ok. i win an item, i go out buy a money order cause they dont do
paypal.
thats cool, it seems like its the only way i can get vintage playboy
issues to fill in holes of my collection.
so i bought the moneyorder and mailed it last wednesday and she lives
in Shickshinny, PA
i live in grand ledge michigan
says as of tonight <monday december 3rd> its a no show.
should i be worried? and can missing moneyorders be redeemed? or
canceled? refunded?
ive used them plenty of times, i just dont know the saftey facts on
them.
so if anyone can help me out. or confirm my worries. thanks!

I'd ask at the post office where you bought it.
At this time of year, a week for snail mail (without any tracking
device, like, signature required, or return receipt requested) doesn't
sound like too much. It's about 3 weeks before Christmas.

i got it at a meijer here in grands ledge.
but now i think the seller is gone on vacation cause i cant really
contact her...
im keeping my hopes high and blaming it on shitty mail service.
i once mailed a letter to my grandpa in florida and it took like 2 1/2
weeks to show up, during july!
i think i will start buying the moneyorders in the post office, or at
least a bank.
they charge more, but i asssume they have more security steps if i
really do loose a moneyorder in the mail.

well it paid off to wait....
the status on my item is now "shipped on 12-10-07"
so it was a slow system! WOOT!~
