Actually, there is a camera shop in Dexter that handles used equipment. Seem
to be good folk the few times I've been in there. Did things like replace
3 missing screws on my camera in about 15 minutes, no charge.

Its about 10 miles west of Ann Arbor. On a nice day, there is a pleasant
back-roads drive south on M 52 from Brighton to Chelsea, then east to Dexter.
Alternatively, try US 127 south to Jackson, then take I 94 east.

I have a camera that I'm probably willing to sell. It's a bit 'fancier'
than I want [I'd rather have just a simple 'point and shoot'. What I
have is a Minolta Dimage Z5 [I think...]. A week or two ago I checked
online and see the going rate is $299-$350ish... To go with it, I also
have a Minolta Sunpack external flash and a carry-bag that both fit
into. I know I have the directions for the flash, but am still looking
for the directions for the actual camera [but know that it CAN be
dowloaded from the website]. I'd be willing to sell it all as a
package deal for in the $300 price range.

Yep, it's digital. :-) I'll try and post a bit more tomorrow! And if you're
interested in looking at it, I'll need to go pick it up at my Dad's place
in Dearborn; I'll be going over there probably sometime in this next week or
so. Chad, do you live in the AA/Ypsi area?

If you're interested in the camera, perhaps we could meet part way s omewhere.
I'll post more info on the camera a bit later today, I hope; someone's coming
over in a few minutes to check out some of my other stuff I'm trying to get
rid of...

Check with me if you're still interested in it later. I may or may not still
have it--I'll hang on to it until I get a good offer [or eventually, I may
post it on the local craigslist]. I'll wait on that until after I move and
get settled in my new place [I may wait longer, time will tell; it depends
on how inpatient I get in wanting to buy a new one].

Ok, I won't push in trying to sell it for a little while; I'll be busy trying
to get moved and settled into my new place for the next couple weeks anyway.
If I happen to run across someone interested in before you are, I'll letcha
know.
