The cyberspace you have found here is part of the domain name of
a computer bbs, it isn't a software package. Grex.cyberspace.org
is the name of this wonderful little cyber-community.
Welcome to grex pallav !

# 1 is very true. However the origin of the word "cyberspace"
is William Gibson's cyberpunk novel Neuromancer. In this novel he defines
"cyberspace" as a a consensual computer generated hallucination. For
more discusssions of such yummy topics "j cyberpunk" at the next Ok:
prompt (no quotes just type j cyberpunk). This topic now linked to the
cyberpunk conf.

Every now and then I am forced to leave cyberpace and enter the real world.
Fortunately I can come back to cyberspace again after these short voyages.

So, this is a hallucination? Where do obsessions and hallucinations
intergrade?

Cyberspace is the place where hype meets reality and not very well. BBS'es
were around in the very beginning of the Personal Computer era, they are
highly evolved creatures, you get massive file systems on one or many
subjects, HA9-9000 is loaded with freeware. Also there are smaller boards
devoted to special areas, Ham Radio, Smut, chat. Almost all of these only
require a modem and terminal package. The Internet proper, and all the hype
points to a place called the World Wide Web, this is where you must have
Netscape. You know you are in Cyberspace when everybody is looking for a
way to get money from you for providing some sort of service. To get to
PC Magazine to download a file 'ah got socked for $3.50 a month for the
connection...forever if they have a say in the transaction.

Ummm. not sure what you mean.
To change your grex password, use the passwd command. type passwd at a shell
prompt, or !passwd from most any other kind of prompt.
What details? Use chfn for some, and edit your .plan file for others.

To change your password, finger info, backspace key, etc. At the bbs prompt
type !change.
