Good news it looks like Patrick Leahy says CBDTPA dead in water until
next year:

you don't want this coming back *ever*.

Interestingly, the Senate Judiciary Committee, which Leahy chairs,
has a web site on which anyone can post a public message concerning
this legislation. See

Several dozen messages are posted there. They are OVERWHELMINGLY
against the CBDTPA.

don't you love how they give these things longer and longer names with a
confusingly LONG abbreviation so it's difficult to even talk about.
