Lack of interest in "cyberpunk" Mark Unseen   Feb 20 13:34 UTC 2002

Why is there little interest in this conference. I check it often and
have found no new items. Has anyone any thoughts or could tell me why?

Hmm I think the golden age of cyberpunk was about 1985-1995. Now that
cyberspace in the form of the net is commonplace it's less exciting I guess.

Hey there's always underground it just takes different forms. The best
computer underground now is probably the Linux open source community.
Check out the jellyware conf here for more info.

yeah support opensource culture, and we can extend the cyberpunk golden age
to year 2010.

with perserverence, we can make this utopia of (mostly) like-minded people
last as long as there is still an Internet. Please, just don't post once and
give up because there was no response. We will make it.
