I feel compelled to clarify jenna's remarks because of richard's (deliberate
or accidental, I'm not sure) misinterpretation in #23.  An anonymous donor
recently gave Grex some money with instructions that it be used to pay for
a membership for jenna.  She tells me she has no idea who the donor is, and
as far as I know the donation had no connection whatsoever to the current
vote.  So I see no reason whatsoever to think this is a case of "buying
votes", and in fact I think buying gift memberships for other people is a
practice we should encourage on Grex.  Perhaps someone will buy one for you
someday, richard.
