I am new to the co-op group.  To those of you who don't know me, my name's
Bill.  My nickname on party is travolta.  Could someone fill me in on the
latest news?

        Well, welcome.. first thing- don't type "enter" or "e" unless you
actually have a topic to start a new item on. The latest news is in all the
other individual items here.. to get to them just type "read" or "r" at the
ok prompt.
        Hope that helps.

Travolta, reading Coop is sort of a good/bad thing.  Nice to know what is
going on, but terrible to keep up with.  We are planning to restart Coop
pretty soon, so that all the accumulated muck will be swept aside and folks
like you will get a chance to catch up.

Nice to have you here, Bill. You can try marking everything as seen, 
with a "fix" command, and then "read since 10/1" will give you 
everything entered in coop in the last 10 days. That whould be an 
eyeful. If a thread is interesting, you can follow it further back 
in time. Basically, it's too tough to try to read it all, just try 
to follow the current stuff.
