Conferences with no fair-witnesses

STeve went through and removed all the reaped FW's from each conference.
Four conferences ended up without any fair witnesses: the ascii art
conference, grexnews, mud, and pets. Any thoughts about what to do with
them? Any volunteers to become the fair witness for any of those
conferences, if the conference participants think it's OK?
Hm. I thought the grexnews conference was going to be converted into the
conference where the newsletter crew coordinates things. Is this right,
or is there another conference for that purpose?

Its the newsletter cf. Its been quiet, lately.

That was what was proposed, but people said that we needed to get permission
from the (then) current fair witness before any alterations were made to his
conference. Given that it was impossible to do this, the editors just got
another conference. After that, *they* promptly evaporated, too. I think
I'm the only editor left, and I never even volunteered for the part! 8^)

Nope, nephi, you're not the only editor left ...I've been thinking I was.

I do get the feeling that the newsletter died aborning, though since I never
saw an article I didn't write. *sigh*

(We need better communication, Misty. 8^) Anyway, I'm sure that we will do
that now that we know who's still interested.)

might it not be a good idea to look for a FW in the conf itself, post there
not here people are more likely to volunteer if they enjoy that conf.
