The board meeting will be on Wednesday August 23 at 7pm in the food court in
the basement of the Michigan Union. The public is welcome.

Note that while we're meeting in the Michigan Union Food Court this month,
we'll want to think up a new location for the following meeting.

(By the way, what *is* the 10th digit of pi?)

though in the Crofoot rm. Well....if I hadn't told you, you wouldn't
have asked....

Didn't we already make a decision on the Arbornet UPS a month ago?

Yes. I would imagine it's on the agenda this time for purposes
of hearing a followup report on what's been done to implement it.

Another agenda item: The GrexOhio folks would like official permission to
use Grex's name.

I suggest a motion to issue them a "charter". There may be more such
requests, so I seek a name for such a chartered group - a Grex-Club?
I also suggest that a minimum condition for a charter is adherence
to the provision of our articles that proclaim that Grex is a
non-profit corporation (I'll look up the language prior to the meeting).

As secretary, I object to this agenda numbering scheme.
Consider item 1 in the agenda.
If that doesn't convince you, check out items 4 and 5.

Agendas don't *have* to be numbered - per Robert's Rules of Order.
Numbering is solely for the convenience of refering to items. The
numbering of items in bylaws and other numbered documents is considered just
a clerical matter, and is left to the secretary. I suggest th the
secretary be consulted on the number of the agenda too, as he/she must
work with the document in preparing the minutes.

I am not fussy, but I will insist on uniqueness, and will annotate the
numbering to ensure same.

Well, i *was* considering going back to 1,2,3,4 type numbering.
I guess it's time (or even well past time -- the numbers *were* getting
to be a bit much).

Srw, you could label the agenda items as "1st 1" and "2nd 1", or some such
scheme :).

Or, to help us find the item when someone says - "back in item 4..",
number them 1.3, 2.1, 3.4, 4.1, .... etc. Its called the "decimal-pi"
system.
