How can I access the previous coop conf, I believe from last summer?

The data is still on line, but you can't access it as a conference
anymore. The files are in the directory /bbs/coop5. Item 1 is in a
file called _1, item 2 is in _2 and so on. If you're comfortable
with Unix commands, reading these files is messy but do-able.

I have back Co-ops archived and if anyone would want a copy

Maybe it would just be easier if anyone remembers just what was passed on
that proposal last summer to open up more services to non-members.

Alas, it hasn't been implemented yet, but the proposal opened up finger
and chat to anybody, and posting usenet news for any validated user,
paying or not. I don't think we've entirely defined what "validated"
means, though it was debated very heavily.

It also opened up talk and gopher protocols. I would like to consider
adding http to the list, but it was not listed in the proposal.

As I recall, the proposal says also that more protocols can be opened
up if the board and staff feels it's technically reasonable to do so.
Thus the board could decide to open up http without another membership
vote.

the archives directory. They're at:
/usr/local/grexdoc/archives/prvote/prvote03 <-this would be the latest
