Needed-Advice on Roofing Companies

Unfortunately, our house needs a new roof. Anyone have any good experiences
with a roofing company in Ann Arbor? Any one want to recommend anyone?
Also, has anyone had any bad experiences with roofers? We are considering
Huron Valley and Kleinschmidt, but boy, are they expensive. We also want to
install two skylights. Any advice appreciated. I prefer e-mail responses
as I can get them quicker and we need to make a decision probably before the
next rain 8-). Thanks.

We just had our roof done by "New Roof". They did a good job, worked well
together and allowed me to interlace some remodeling work with their work. We
only got two quotes, but they were $1000 less, came with a good recomendation
and seemed well organized during the presentation / bidding process. They
did the job in a day and I also stayed home that day to answer any questions
and oversee the progress. (My roof was 1,700 sq. ft.)

Was the remodeling of an antenna? ;->

Nope. Molding between house roof and garage roof. The old stuff was
in bad shape and the roofers and I decided that it would be best to
have the molding go over the garage flashing. It worked out great!
The antenna is still up and they did a good job of working around it ;)
