If you get junk email telling you to call an area code like 473 or 664 DON'T do it. Area code 809 has split and scamspammers are using these new area codes to steal. | ||

I cannot imagine dialing a number because I got junk email telling me to. BUt please explain what a scamspammer is. | ||

Oddly enough, they have stopped tying coupons to porch railings, at least in my neighborhood, ever since I called and asked the police to send someone out to explain the local littering laws. The coupons did not give the police no. You are right, though, I do call junk mailers to ask them to stop. In the case of junk email, I might send back email. | ||

They figured out the solution to that a long time ago; the originating
address is almost never valid.
